This island, in the Bay Of Kotor Montenegro, features the Saint George Benedictine monastery, constructed in the 12th century, and the old graveyard for the old nobility from Perast and further from the whole Bay of Kotor. It is thought to have been an inspiration for the painting "Isle of the Dead" by the Swiss Symbolist artist Arnold Böcklin (1827–1901).
This image is printed on 300gsm cotton rag paper and finished with a white mat; a glass window and a timber frame all ready to hang. It may also be purchased unframed.
