Firstly let me address the security of buying from my site as this is so important when dealing directly with  artists.

All my work has previously been sold through online commission galleries but with commission rates increasing I felt it was time to control my own destiny. So from 2026 all my work will be sold through this online site exclusively. My work is commission free. There is no charge for my shipping.

This new secure https site is hosted by Wix which is publicly listed in the US and provides cloud-based web development services. It is the major world player in this market.

 

This site is full e commerce. Payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc. Stripe holds a substantial portion of the global payment processing market, often cited as the second most used solution after PayPal.

 

Secondly I have been painting in some form for over 50 years as this was my initial training with art forming a significant part of my formal education.

My photographic endeavours began much later than my art and started due to a desire to explore the world without sacrificing my artistic drive. Photography allowed me to do this. Now with over 20 years of photographic experience, and collaboration with one of the best printers & framers in Australia, it is now the only driver of my artistic output.

I approach my photography as a painter would. My aim is for each image to be experienced as a work of art, appreciated for the emotions it evokes rather than as a record of a place visited on holiday. For this reason, I share minimal detail about locations, inviting the viewer to engage with the image itself.
